Have you tried SVN? When a problem occurs far into gameplay it is generally helpful to make a save that facilitates analysis. It seems the game is saved continuously while playing, so a backup of GAME.* files just before the error appears. i can do this, but what file in the game folder is the save …

okay sorry, now i understand - the TT2.exe file is in the mig alley directory - does this error come up when running ht epatch or is occuring after having installed the patch?

Its odd as i never recall seeing this error come when i installed MIG ALLEY and this specific patch on windows 10. though if there is a 16bit installer involved then i should have hit up against this problem too. are saying the patch runs but in the files for the patch there is thsi tt2 file

what is a TT2 error? sorry its been a while, - are you using the patch from here? https://www.patches-scrolls.de/patch/2693/7/46855/download i had no issues installing the patch for mig alley in windows 10 64bit myself - the patch is not a 16bit installer, at least not the version in the link above …
