Hello Vogons , there two very fresh OS alternatives for the ppc macs. First is Adelie PPC linux edition built late 2021 and second is Sorbet Leopard (10.5.9) . both of which are good for gaming machines of their era.

Tillamook was a success with the pin mods mentioned above.We have had a big road though.More than 15 years of the mystery!I repeat i am using a tillamook 266oc to 300mhz on a speadeasy QDI titanium IIIB with l2 cache enabled.

The mod physically is okey but i have to deal with the weight.It seems that the pcb bents on the weight of the heatsinks.I will complete the mod ,run some tests and remove parts of the heatsinks and i will report back.Stay tuned.

Hello there, the tillamook cpu is a perfect last upgrade for the socket 7 systems which do not post with the k6-2 or k6-3 core like my qdi titanium IIIB.
