Re: Resize window

In your dosbox.conf file there is a line with the key, "windowresolution". You can change the value behind that to change the size of the window i.e.: windowresolution=800x600 However your currently selected output mode will need to support the scaling. Different output modes like opengl or overlay …

Re: 3 bugs in 0.72 on Mac OS X

Okay by default it appears midi output on OS X goes through this new CoreMidi code. By forcing coreaudio in the dosbox.conf file, Midi begins to playback again. Can somebody give me some insight as to where coremidi came from? It sounds interesting... I assume it is still in development however.

Re: 3 bugs in 0.72 on Mac OS X

Okay here is a patch that solves the issue without removing the flushing: *** ./src/gui/sdlmain.cpp.orig 2008-01-16 15:17:15.000000000 -0500 --- ./src/gui/sdlmain.cpp 2008-02-07 07:20:16.000000000 -0500 *************** *** 1229,1247 **** * regain window or input focus. */ bool paused = true; SDL_ …

Re: 3 bugs in 0.72 on Mac OS X

Another thing. Building DOSBox under Leopard was a bit painful last time I did it due to some depracated Core Audio calls DOSBox uses. I submitted a patch for that as well, however since I haven't updated my CVS build in forever, I have no idea whether or not this is still an issue. Perhaps I should …

Re: 3 bugs in 0.72 on Mac OS X

I can verify the pause issue on an older 0.72+ CVS version that has been customized somewhat. It seems as if every complaint except the key mapping issue (which I've covered before) has been covered here before. As for that issue, I submitted a patch in the beta forum a while back that adds a mapper …

Re: CD-ROM issues in OSX

Could you explain why the ripping/mounting work-around isn't pratical? I mean imgmount will mount raw bin/cue images with multiple tracks correctly. It will also allow you to mount multiple images and "switch" disks using CTRL-F4. So unless you have a harddrive space issue - but then I would suggest …

Re: DOSBOX on Mac Please Help!!

Well it's absolutely true. DOSBox takes all of the real hassle out of DOS. If you've ever spent hours screwing with memory managers, upper memory blocks and boot configs... then you know exactly what I am talking about. Also I should clarify my "I'm a Mac User" comment. My primary OS of choice today …

Re: DOSBOX on Mac Please Help!!

Can somebody explain to me why somebody who doesn't know DOS would be interested in DOSBox? I see a lot of these threads and to be honest: I just don't get it. Yeah I'm a Mac user as well, but I lived and breathed DOS and DOS Gaming for a large part of my youth, so well yeah.

Re: Problem with WYSIWYG in Lotus 123 2.4

I'm well aware of that. The comparison is regarding Lotus' track record with software development. They've had years to fix Lotus Notes and it is still the worst email client I've ever used. So given their inability to handle a simple email client (screw the rest of Notes), I think Lotus 123 …
