Re: CVX-2 : covox adapter

Success! The ZIP provided by the creator of the hardware appears to be essentially a file dump of what they had left file-wise for the SoundJr, but all the pieces seem to be there. I uploaded it in a post to the Vogons Driver Library thread if anyone wants to download it.

Re: CVX-2 : covox adapter

I heard back from him, he said he will be sending the needed software along shortly! Looks like a success to me. As soon as I get them I will upload them to the Vogons driver library thread, and also put a copy on my Google Drive, so even if my local machine fails before backup, a copy will continue …

Re: CVX-2 : covox adapter

Is it worth trying to RE volume functionality when no software exists to drive it? There is enough contact information out there that I have no doubt that if the software still exists, and I have faith that it does, I can indeed secure a copy of it. I've contacted the principal from Siliconsoft …

Re: CVX-2 : covox adapter

Big Thank You! and shout out to Cloudschatze. He got back to me and is going to send me his spare of this version of the SoundJr. Based on the information I've been able to dig up, and my experience with reverse engineering, I expect it won't be long before we know everything about it. Our biggest …

It's not as advanced as some of the designs being discussed, but has a few interesting features. Instead of discrete resistors, this device employs a pairing of either 767163103 …

Re: MUNT Installation

Sorry for the late reply, totally spaced on this thread. I run Symantec Endpoint Protection, and it was completely disabled. No other antivirus/malware surveillance/firewall software was running. Yes. I was running it as an adminstrator. I also tried it without "Run as Administrator", same outcome. …

Re: MUNT Installation

Drvsetup is also crashing on my stock installation of Windows 8 Pro x64. I had absolutely no midi devices, other than the default that came with a typical Windows installation installed at the time I attempted to run the installation EXE. These are the errors it encountered according to the Event …
