E-ATX use 3 rows of screw holes but the first 2 rows should be the same as ATX. Nice case, if it was a little cheaper I would buy one.

I would think they needed a low power CPU for this mission so a P4 3.6ghz was out. 😉 I wonder what temperature all that stuff is operating at (voltage unit makes heat to make electricity).

I don't like to browse the web using machines with old OS because it is a pain in the rear. Archive.org tends to be buggy even on current OS/browsers but its better then nothing.

What speed slot do you have, they can be 66mhz, 100mhz, or 133mhz (and possible setup in the BIOS). What is the max speed of the card (does it use faster PCI-X bus speeds)?

These days all the new one should be about the same (made in the same factories with a different name on them). I do wonder if used one can be recharged and repackaged as new by some Chinese con men.

Did anyone make a dual P4 motherboard? I love my old Dual Opteron boards, they are very solid and RAM is cheap.

I think the vast majority of P4 era systems (and after) are going straight from use to recycling so there will not be a large amount of them around in 20 years when people start to want them.

I have a PR440FX with dual 333 overdrives and 1GB RAM running Win2k. Just the other day I received a dual ppro board (Micronics W6-LI) that will probably be either a spare or a NT 4 box with my old dual 200 PPros. Do you have the VRM for your board so that you can run a second CPU?

CDRWIN,Corel Easy CD Creator were what I used back in the day or diskjuggler (popular for Dreamcast CDs). You will need an old SCSI or early IDE burner that is supported. My first burner was a 2x HP (they had it recalled) for something like $1100 at BestBuy so I was an early adopter.
