As I couldn't find this in a search, I'd like to know if anyone has had any luck with the 'experimental' 3d acceleration in VB. I'm working with the latest version 4.3, with the guest additions installed and well as the extension pack. The guest is XP Pro x86 and host Win 7 x64. As advised by the VB …

I started and abandoned Dead Space. It scared the pants off me to be honest. I'm not squeamish per se, but not having a BFG to blast those critters to kingdom come at first sight, did it for me.

Treated myself to a new CPU recently and was puzzled to see the core temps reading way below ambient. Apparently this is known, which I also find a little odd. Many thanks for your kind replies. That gif is really cool and takes me back a bit...sheds tear. I often wondered if they were stored in the card bios too, but then I found that the splash would change from either image 1 or 2 depending on the 3dfx patch used (in emulation).... Cheers and thanks!
