Are there any non-AGP SDRAM Socket 7 boards that can cache at least 256mb of RAM?

Early FCPGA Celerons (533A/566, 1.5v) can work in PPGA boards/slotkets without modifications. Later models will fall into reset loop.

According to datasheet ( http://alsa.cybermirror.org/manuals/yamaha/YMF715.PDF ) YMF715 doesn't require -5V power supply.

For PCI I decided to use Aureal SQ2500 (Vortex 2): they support DS3D hw acceleration and A3d, and they are relatively easy to find. Creative Ensoniq series doesn't have any hardware acceleration capabilities and newer models like Live! are too common. For ISA I'll stay with AWE64 CT4520 and replace …

I have the same CF-IDE adapter. It works normally and suits your conditions well. It's limited to UDMA33 mode because of pin 34 in it's IDE connector strapped to corresponding pin of CF card, so system recognizes the adapter as connected through 40-wire cable. feipoa The system acts the same without any add-in cards. Also changing AGP Aperture size in BIOS doesn't help.

V3 2000 PCI has 4 chips, that are identical to those i've just soldered to my Velocity (km4132g112q-6). The card isn't working now (beeps on POST). It possibly died during soldering, or just need another BIOS. Will see.
