I think Wikipedia is wrong and SCC-1's output rate actually is 32k, I don't see any reason to upsample it to 44,1khz.

I think this is bug related to Tremolo generator. I got similar problem with CMI8738's FM synth, which seems is perfect OPL3 clone. Try to reboot your pc.

They sound the same to my ear. I still don't understand why the YMF719 sounds different to all others starting from second 18 on the lion track, It uses the exact same YMF289 chip like the YMF718? That particular instrument sounds mellower and less modulated on the 719 than on the 718 or any other …

For ymf718 i used windows media player and yamaha's sound card drivers installed in windows 98se. For emulators i used windows media player and opl3 user mode driver in windows 10. For ymf262 i used same user mode driver and sweet midi player in windows 10. Also note that Windows 98 has two opl3 …

Ok. I've recorded. YMF718 applies "3D" effect to sound. But i don't know how to disable it. This song is from Disney's Aladdin port to Windows.

No. This is case where compat loses to fast emu. This music is from Lion King port to Windows 95. BTW I just recorded sample from ymf718 myself.

That's because these chipsets have both native PCI and PCIe. Later chipsets has only PCIe and PCI was done using PCIe to PCI bridge chips thus SB/AdLib compatiblity doesn't work.
