Also looks like some form of corrosion on de pci connector, make sure all the contacts are clean.

I have used the brackets from a tnt diamond viper v550 card, perfect fit for voodoo3 and they are faitlrly common around here. And yes, kt400 and up is not compatible, kt333 can be tricky and from kt266a and down it's save for 3,3v agp. More is not needed, you can max out a v3 on a later p3 or early …

The big scores come from nvidia geforce 2 and 3 cards, so use those.. 3dfx isn't that much slower but for some reason the nv cards with the right driver are a golden combination for this project. Beating the highest scores you'll probably need around a k6-3+ @660mhz or higher and an overclocked card …

I would say for best performance on ss7 (at least on Nvidia cards so maybe with v3 too): win98se without servicepacks directx7a ali V agp driver 2.13 on any k6 5,5 multiplier works better as the 6x so set the board at 5,5 with 110fsb for maximum performance. Look here : https://www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/Intel/Pentiu … 31PC037G0K.html I don't know why but they state that the upgrade chance to the 1.9ghz version is 35%. That's pretty low and I guess it means that a lot of boards need a bios update to get it to work (newer stepping etc?)

It seems that Asus P5A offers a little more. K6-2+ 500 @ 633 and K6-3+ mobile 400 both took 633 @ asus P5A. v1.06 and Gigabyte GA-5AX . 115 FSB is too heavy for a cache module. Don think those solid caps will leak but the card does need some cleaning in that area. Recapping however is never a bad idea. Also start simple and clean the pci edge connector.

Screamer games on v5 is hard to get working so no wonder you have problems. Dosglide games can be difficult without a v1 or v2. In windows try direct3d first on both chips (3dmark99 or 3dmark 2000 for example) also check if both chips work, on the p4 the single chip should be much slower. On the k6 …

Can not compare fps to a x1900 card.. The x1900 is a beast in comparison in some games.
