For a 1999 build and nit a late90/early00 build. You really should look for parts released in 1999. That said. I would recommend stuff like 440BX or 820 chipsets. Keep in mind that the 820 chipset is more stable running RD-Ram and not PC-133. For GFX I would recommend V3-3000 and for the CPU I would …

Hi all. Have searched the web for information about getting early glide games running on Voodoo3 cards. It's all a bit confusing. Say if I wish to get NFS2 SE running in glide, on a V3. Can something be done? Even search results from vogons confuses me a bit.

Cool. So the flux actually helps the solder when it's heated above 180 celcius? And when it hits 200 to 220, the solder gets sticky and the flux helps it not to make it shorten out? Would it be adviced to shield the rest of the card with alu-foil? Exposing only the gpu chip!

That's 10µF 16V. But I really doubt it's a capacitor problem. You're saying it starts working after a while, but caps usually get worse when they warm up. Try to keep optical discs that you care about in a dark and cool place. Sunlight kills them, and heat isn't good for them either. Agree on that, as the killers after scratches and oxidization.
