As Duffman said the Audigy Rx is an EMU10K. Based on the Linux kernel patch for it, it uses the Audigy 4 driver (basically just an Audigy 4 behind an PCIe/PCI bridge). So in theory the Audigy 4 driver could work with it on 98 although I'm not sure if anyone has ever tried.
