This may go in DOS games, but why do PCI cards crash when echo's and reverb goes on in Build engine games?

Well, running CD drivers (oakcdrom.sys) through config.sys and autoexec.bat that work in DOS for me fix it.

Looked some up on Ebay, why the hell are they all from Hong Kong or China 😠 Just hope I get better FPS, just in 640x480. EDIT: anyway thanks, found a cheap 2.8 Ghz one for 10 Dollars, from Hong Kong though.

Hi, is there anyway I can't limit my frame rate in build games to say.. 30? And raising the resolution just makes the game run slower im the parts which is why I want the games capped to 30.

I got another card. GeForce4 MX 420 and it fits, old drivers fixed it as the latest don't work, same with the FX.

Alright. So I would have to use DosBox on my main rig to use midi? EDIT: I found a workaround. If you launch the game with the "-nocd" parameter through a shortcut Midi works!

I mean, the game runs. But no music plays, CD music plays with the CD in the drive. But without the CD no music plays, even Midi. And I run DOS. Windows 98.

Hi, I am trying to play the game Blood (By Monolith) and when I try to play it with the Midi music, it always finds a CD, even with no CD in the drive, it says Audio Tracks found as the game is loading yet I have no cd in both of my CD drives. Is there any fix for this?
