Changed the 8x8 and 8x16 fonts on my Trident PCI video card BIOS.

VIA and NEC chips both works well. (VIA is UHCI and NEC is OHCI).

Ati Rage Pro works very well on Windows 3.1 / 3.11. But it has problems with some EGA games (Commander Keen 4/5/6 for example).

Sadly, Canyon3D doesn't have ESFM, as LSS10999 wrote. The FM synthesis of Canyon3D is very quiet and tinny, and of a very low quality. Even SB16/AWE32/AWE64 CQM Synthesis is 1000 times better.

I always use an old version of Jack. R. Ellis driver: XCDROM.SYS. It's small and does the job.

Somebody should edit that compatibility list, in regards to that Mario game. There is no point in keeping that "Shareware Version", which is really an incomplete demo; when there is a "Full version" available at Mike Wiering website (http://www.wieringsoftware.nl/mario/download.html ).

You could try changing the storage mode in the BIOS, from "AHCI" or "SATA" to "IDE" or "Legacy". Just to be sure.
