I wonder why auxilery outputs on PSU's fell out of favour so much? Obviously there is a certain amount of current being taken from the PSU. But surely, CRT's take a huge amount more electricity than an LCD, so removing it for that reason is now redundant. 😕 😕

I'm using an ATI Mach64VT (1). 'tis quite compatable me thinks. I've never had issues with it. It has a good win3 driver though. Allowing me 32k colours @ 1024x786

A proper PCI floppy controller that works like a typical ISA or onboard one. That you can access typically from the computer with no imaging required. Is that asking too much? 😢 😊

Interesting. I remember having Windows 98 on my Dell CPi, and Desperados was laggy. Later I upgraded to 2k, and it was smooth. I presumed WinNT obviously had a performance increase.. I guess that was not it at all? 😕 (I know this is about winamp, not Desperados, but similar I suppose)

Never mind, pressed f10 and found it brightened it, with 8 levels of brightness. That's better!! One annoying this is when you're trying to set brightness and the lightening is going off, it pulls the brighness down by 1 level each lightening occasion, so you're always on 7.

The only thing I know of is the Kryoflux interface. A bit on the expensive side though. It might be cheaper to do as was suggested, buy a cheap 3.5" and try to retrofit it to a 5.25" drive. Or, put together an older system just to hook up the 5.25" drive like I did :) I wanted the system anyways, …
