I found a CF IDE adapter and it has no ICs on the pcb. Are they so easily directly connected to the IDE connector or I just have a cheap one? And what about using new CF 100MB/s card? Are they faster than real UDMA33/66 disks?

My only pciex vga was a x1800xl on a dual agp pciex mobo but i bought it too late for the games i had so my last high end card. The 9500 L shaped ram was the last i liked!

Interesting, I'll try that. It's a miracle I got to make my USB PCI card to run with the VP3 (but only with no DMA on second IDE..). I always had crash problems with same setups.
