i try to source 2-3 Drives, i also need a decent 19" AT RACK Case. I recieved today a P200 Classic, still need another CPU 😀 Also updated BIOS to latest Beta. This Board suffers from being only PCI 2.0 😒

Still no success with PCI IDE Controllers, they just can't find HDD's attached to it. Tried some Promise Controllers and a VIA one. Seems also no IRQ is routed to them. I also tried to configure the Jumpersetting to route one manually. Did also not work. Has anyone experience with this old school …

Be warned, the 6200 AGP exists in different Variants, some are cut down to a level where its only suitable for office.. the XFX 6200A-LE is so limited that even a FX5200 64bit is faster... for example Early 6200 with first Core Version are be able to Unlock to 6600GT Speeds.

They are HMOS and CMOS Technologie which are sensitive to Static Electricity. If you walk over a carpet and touch it, it's like a lightening strike on a tree 😳 (bit extreme example)

I tested the SIDs in C64, both are defective.. i will have soon a cheapo SwinSID avaible and i'm hope i can source the SwinSID Ultimate 😀. Unfortunaly i have to wait to buy another SID 😀

is it only a 10mbit vesa local bus Card ? it doesnt not seem to have any advantage over ISA Cards. My 3Com Etherlink III is also be able to push nearly 0,9Mbyte/s in both directions/full duplex 10M.

IMG_20160816_172503.jpg IMG_20160816_173023.jpg System boots from NetBSD 7.0.1 Boot floppys, 5 floppy's needed, and it seems it does not have Realtek Network Driver or 3Com inside :( So no install from files over network.. But happily it recognizes both CPU's :) And there are no Errors, No MCE …

I soldered everything now together. But unfortunaly i only have partially defective SID's 😳 I get just some Popping noises when playing a SID file. The SID also runs pretty hot. My other one does nothing. Have to wait again 😳

The AWE64 does only output Music via SPDIF. The only Card i know that really works is a EWS64 XL. It also features a SAM Synthesizer and can carry up to 66Mb RAM for wavetable Banks.

I had a few V2 Cards with defective RAM 😒 replacing it brings them often back to life. Also had a V2 with 8Mb, who has one defective IC causing artifacts in textures..
