Re: New DOSBox Frontend - DOSBox Game Launcher

Another thing I discovered: Some games need a CD mounted to run, but have files on the hard drive for saves etc. Your program doesn't allow me to mount an image and run any file off that image - it has to be an existing file on the hard drive which is a bit limiting. Any way of solving this?

Re: New DOSBox Frontend - DOSBox Game Launcher

Okay it no longer crashes after I put 0.52 on top of the old version. Can I give a few remarks though? - I miss a "duplicate" feature. I have quite a few games that are very similar and it's a chore having to enter all the same, or nearly the same, data over and over again. I'll give you an example: …

Re: No sound or music in Pizza Tycoon

Actually, "auto" is default in all CVS versions I download now. But I'll try that, thanks. EDIT: okay, not only does "auto" have to be turned off, you also have to turn max off. With "auto" core still on, it wouldn't work either - setting it to dynamic works. Also, 8000 cycles works too. One odd …

My problem was being 17 and not having mastered English completely yet (I had only started learning English from magazines since I was 13). I always hated word puzzles at that time. Now they're really easy of course - I can read Edgar Allan Poe stories with ease which are considered to be pretty …

Re: Kingdom O Magic Issues

Well when it's the same problem I see no issue with using an old topic - stops people from linking it and going "did you read this?" and consider the matter closed. I can't find this game anywhere so i can't try it for you I'm afraid unless you know a place to get it.

Re: Problems with Alone in the Dark Trilogy

The things you mentioned sound like CDROM access problems - maybe your CD ROM's access speed is just very low? Back when I was using an old backup drive when my DVD drive went bust, I had similar issues with some games. Of course making a CD image will solve the problem since an emulated image of a …
