Well, I noticed that some things run better in DOSBox, others run better on the actual retro rig. Plus certain old games with low-res graphics look a lot better on an ancient CRT than a modern LCD.

Just leave it floating in the case somewhere and have it monitor the case temp rather than the CPU temp. Last time I tried wedging the sensor between the CPU and cooler (socket 478), it bumped the CPU temps up by 20C, just due to the sensor interfering with proper contact between the CPU and HSF. …

You can do whatever you want, but generally speaking, unless dealing with some very obscure cases, it is not necessary to dual-boot DOS 6.x and Win9x, and doing so brings no practical advantage. Aladdin throws two different errors, about XMS and about EMS. XMS error is thrown usually when there is too much memory. EMS error is thrown usually when there is not enough EMS (typically because EMS manager has not been installed).
