From a cursory glance it looks like with the Isa only 386 SBC just the Isa slots will be functional as the traces for the pci slots come from the pci SBC connector. But it should work just fine as an Isa only system and should you upgrade to a 486 or Pentium SBC you already have a pci enabled back …

Yeah a good quality glue stick works great for labels. I've had good luck with the Elmer's purple sticks it alows you to see how well your coverage is and it drys clear

For labels I've had good luck with a standard glue stick when reattaching them. For the feet you can use a tube of silicon or even try some good hot glue as well.

It's probably a long shot but is your power supply up to the task running that system? I've had similar issues and it turned out to be a weak power supply dropping out under load.

Yeah I don't think that's a factory setup with that resistor. I have a geforce 4 mx460 in my socket A XP rig and I personally love the card. It definitely preforms better than most people give it credit for. It's on par with a geforce 2ti and not far from a ultra

Check all the memory chips and the second vsa100 chip for and bent and touching legs that could be causing a short circuit

I was never a a mac guy but those were neat little systems. If you were to pick up a cheap digital converter box you'd be able to watch ether clear qam or ota broadcast channels with it. But since it has an analog ntsc tuner it sadly won't be able to tune the new atsc 1.0 digital signals

Does the 440hx chips ether even support booting off a cd rom? Your best bet would be using a ms-dos boot disk with cd drivers and then install Windows

There really isn't that much difference between them. I would personally fix the pins and run the processor. The Northwood is a great core and it runs soooo much cooler than the Prescott cores.
