I will look into the clrtc right now. Im testing this in case. I tried other sticks of ram they got nowhere as well. So everything is still pointing to a dead CPU. Let me plug in a case fan. Just have to find one that i know works.

I think i have these set right. Unless someone thinks otherwise. Again this is a Pentium II 450 Mhz.

Unless i have the speaker plugged in wrong in the panel i hear no beep with out a ram stick. Im gonna now double check jumpers.

Okay i will try all those things for sure. The jumpers though btw were set like that when i got it. I changed it to match the 450 Mhz Pentium II SECC2 i have. I could besure again that my jumpers are correct. Ill get back to you again soon. And thank you again.

Okay so i tried using a Eraser on the contacts. Still no go. And from what i can see the inner teeth on the Slot1 do look fine.

Okay should i also double check jumper settings? Would that cause it to not boot, if incorrect? I was sure i set those right. Also there isnt really any symptoms. If i just turn it on, no beep, no video signal. Nothing.

Unlike the Dell one, this was made in 1999. Its EMU10K1-SEF instead of a EMU10K1-SFF. It has a sticker on the back that is in Asian writing and its DP/N 0009455U and not 0181UR. Is it just a regular value? According to the creative site, there was a Dell OEM and Non OEM. Filename CT4780.jpg File …

I have the SFF the same style heatsink that Chinny linked. Im sure im missing something really simple, but when i push down on the tallest part that sticks up towards the roof of the machine it just wont detach or pull off. And that PDF sadly is different, i just cant find a manual either to help.
