Nevermind, i found out that disabling Digital Output Only in surround mixer makes it all work.

I got my hands on a CT4870 basically for free, i know its the OEM HP/NEC one. But i cant for the drivers for it anywhere. I would like to install it and see exactly whats up with this version.

Okay so we are getting somewhere. I now get a "option rom and ram detected within page frame" when i use M9. So i just gotta find the right frame. I dont have any PCI network cards but i do have a onboard one, even if i disable that it still says that.

Yeah its Win98se with 512mb ram. Ive used msconfig to cap it at 32 or 16mb ram nothing different and i actually used the unofficial pack, but i only did the updates. Ill check that out again.

Even after limiting the ram to 32mb, or 16mb its still gives an EMS error. So i think the issue is getting Windows 98 to properly use EMS memory.
