Homeworld This title was absolutely amazing in terms of story, art work, and music. It broke new ground with fully 3D, 5 DOF RTS space combat. It was the game I'd been waiting for ever since watching the Star Wars movies.

A bit of a shame that most SIS Socket A based systems were low balled in features and reliability. the 735 and 745 chipsets had an impressive design for disk I/O.

I think the GF256 is a superior match for a T-bird core as far as period correctness. GF FX 5900 is a better match for a Barton or early Athlon64.

This is a really interesting early Athlon build. It could be made into a good match for systems of the day simply by switching to Win98 and using a more period appropriate video card (GF 256, Matrox G400, TNT2). Any interest in going that direction?
