Using a USB (wireless) keyboard and a Ps/2 mouse (setting Ps/2 as "Mouse" in the bios) is also OK.

Thank you, but the ao486 core is too big for MiST and SIDI. On the other hand, it seems that Next186 core manages better the smooth scrolling of games like Crystal Caves, Commander Keen etc.

Thank you so much for your kind reply. It seems that it's DSS, but with a slightly increased sampling rate (44100 Hz/6 = 7350 Hz), this could affect the detection in Hocus Pocus? It works well even in Alone in the Dark (floppy version).
