The shutting down is random, sometimes it's very stable and lasts for over an hour, other times it shuts down after 10 minutes of usage... And not only in matter of speed, but when I use my flashdrive via USB on that Windows 98 PC, when I open any MIDI file or I rename some folder, explorer crashes, while from network (same flashdrive shared through my main PC right now) it works fine.

If I enable both HIMEM.SYS and EMM386, EMM386 will crash with a compatibility error between the two, you can't run both HIMEM and EMM386 in DR. DOS 7.03
