Picked up this Midiman GMAN sound module last week and got round to taking some recordings of it. Its based on a Crystal CS9233 and according to Bloodem the patch set should be pre cleanwave.

I did this with my 233mmx. The turbo button enables 50mhz and the DIPS controls the multi's and the 60mhz/66mhz switch. The board was already controlled by a DIP switch. I just left all switches in the off state and mounted the required DIP in the case badge area.

Great work Paar. I have one of the BTC cards you posted on the first page but unfortunatley its a really noisy card. I do also have a non working Compaq Armada 7730MT which may be a possability to salvage the chip from.

Just looking at how the EWS invokes its mixer is though the Init prog. Copy code to clipboard 1 C:\EWS64S\64SINIT -V -F -B SOUNDSET.94B -M MIXER.TTM Maybe the 94DINIT is the same? If you have a Mixer file try Copy code to clipboard 1 94DINIT F=(FIRMWARE) S=(SOUNDBANK) P=330 M=(Mixer File)
