Is it a PRO or an SE? You could unlock the pipelines in the SE to work as a PRO but this would bring up issues. This looks like similar behaviour.

Great build! I'm currently in the process of getting parts together for a similar build using a Abit VP6 board. I'm also going to use 1Ghz Coppermine's and either shove in a Radeon 9700 Pro or GF4 Ti4200.

Did some Sound related testing today. My Diamond Monster MX300 with DB50XG attached showed up so i was eager to test it out. Works great and sounds so awesome. Even works through dos which is great! I have 2 Asus CUSL2-M board's one i just picked up this week with a Celeron 633mhz for £5. Rock solid 815 board and i run a modified Tualatin 1.4ghz chip in the one.

This is my current "OPL" Card and would love to pair it up with an MT-32 for some true midi action. Its a YMF-719 with a YMF-704C-S onboard also. Won this on ebay the other day. Diamond Monster MX300 with a Yamaha DB50XG and Manual. £28.50 Shipped for both which i think is quite the bargain. This will be my first Midi Daughter board.

Well my Music Quest Midi Card turned up today. Looks clean and in good condition. Just need to make a back plate for it. Come with the midi break out cable too.
