Dont know? But i remember seeing socket 3 AT motherboards with ddr. They where special boards for industrial purposes and ran windows 2000 and some ran a custom dos os.

Got it working, had to reinstall everything like this Win95->IE4.01->IE5.5->SP1 Now everything is working great! I had no idea IE4.01 would change the whole explore layout. Had to reinstall windows, i did the exact same same route and now im getting that same problem i cant even change to a solid …

I don't see active desktop anywhere. I'm using win95c with the unofficial service pack and IE5.5. When win95 logs in there is box in the corner that says "windows is now setting up the following item" my desktop refreshes then goes to a solid color background.

Every time windows boots up there is a box that pops up configuring windows, when it goes away desktop refreshes and my wallpaper is gone nothing but a solid background color. Could it be cause im using a .jpg image Is .bmp recommended?

I think it would be easier if there was list for all the model and the latest driver pack for each model. I know we have the vogons drivers, but half of those drivers are outdated CD drivers and some cards I cant even find on there and some models are oem stuff from dell. It would be nice to know …

I got a new card its a sound blaster live 5.1 (SB0060) on my dell 4100 with windows ME on one hard drive and 2000 pro on the other drive (dual boot). I grabbed the latest driver from creatives website for winME and that installed perfectly not a single problem. Now on the windows 2000 side there …
