I really don't know - possibly requests from the Chinese community. The I/O ports make a lot of sense as I think most people were using the ISA expansion for an I/O card. I'd be more keen to see an appropriate network interface like a Realtek 8019 chip or similar integrated, than all the way to VGA …

I have no involvement in the dev.... this person I think communicates with the developer. I did see the TaoBao pricing, I think I'd be one of those suckers willing to buy from Ali. I don't know why he's jumping to VGA rather than anything like Tandy mode. I'm sure it's easier to implement on an LCD …

This is true they had different levels of integration. You had to know the boards well though. I agree and think that even Plantronics graphics mode would be interesting, but if Tandy uses the 6845 chip then the machine is halfway to a Tandy. I've played with PCem, would love to maybe try an actual Book 8088 config on that. I like a challenge... I've seen how a DIR listing can pause for ages etc.
