Most 1.2MB disk drives can't write to 360KB disks. Can you read from the 5160 the files you put with the 1.2MB drive ? Also, cleaning the heads might help.

Hi, I've bought a gotek drive some time ago and I flashed some firmware on it to use it on my amiga ... except that never happened. Now I'd like to roll back to the original firmware for testing proposes, but I can't find it anywhere 🙁 Can anybody send me their firmware ?

AGP was released only one year after the SDRAM support, and pentiums could also benefit from AGP motherboards. AGP isn't "too new". Why would you want 100MHz FSB without AGP ? That is "too new" as well. You can't squeeze out the best performance from a K6-3 without an AGP slot. Also, why wanting SDRAM support, ain't SDRAM "too new" as well ?

Final Fantasy 7 is speed sensitive, even a P2 400 is too fast. Grim Fandango can't be finished on a computer that's too fast due to some enigma you can't solve on newer computers.
