Definitely NOT fake, I've seen posts here and on CPU-World about them, they are just a very late date with a time specific logo.

What revision is your board, and does it have the latest BIOS from the zip file jezolo posted above? BIOS 3.06 works for me on board revision 1.8. Going to try booting revision 1.22 with a DX2 this week, and update the BIOS to see if that will then boot with a DX4 or 5x86.

If you are overclocking without thermal paste, you processor is at high risk of overheating, as the heatsink won't make a perfect seal on the CPU, so won't keep it as cool as it needs. I highly recommend keeping it turned off, or at least not thrashing the system, until you are able to apply some …

OK I solved one problem. It seems the CMOS battery acted up in some way because removing it solved my RTC issue. Now I have a loosing CMOS settings when turned off issue though. :) The battery is needed to save the settings - removing the battery is one way to reset the CMOS. It sounds like you …
