The link I posted shows all your options. https://stason.org/TULARC/pc/motherboards/Q/Q … ium-P55XB2.html You can use banks 1+2, 1+4, 2+3 or 2+4 together, but not 1+3 or 2+4. So 1+2 or 3+4 is your best bet, depending which is faster. And 256 MB total is your limit.

Most boards from this era can read from winbond W29c010 chips. Maybe that one is even pin compatible with that chip ? Try to read from it by unchecking the "check id" option in xgpro and see. Jeff Duntemann: Assembly Language Step by Step is pretty food. Not sure of the publication date of the first edition, but the second edition came out in 92 and is the last to support DOS. It usually available on eBay. Other than that, I learned by mostly reading processor datasheets.
