Isn't it possible to replace Shuttle XPC PSUs with flex ATX PSUs? Also wouldn't really recommend XPCs for serious retro builds though.😅

That's no longer an issue. All modern SSDs have active trim done by the controller of the SSD itself. That is not right. The drives have wear levelling and garbage collection routines but TRIM is a command issued by the OS. The controller is not aware which data is or isn't in use so it can't issue …

Welcome to the forum!😃 Boards of that time usually have all fan headers hooked up in parallel and switched by a single transistor. If that transistor fails there's no power on any fan header. Try to find that transistor and see if it failed open.

If there's nothing unusual going on you can get a bigger and faster module but it's very possible it'll run slower than its rated speed because the memory controller doesn't support higher speeds.

I don't think Slot1 can read the thermal sensor on Pentium III CPUs? (Edit: I was confused by 'slot 370' in the OP. Was thinking this was referring to a Slocket.) Also is an aging VRM possibly the culprit?

The only recommendation I can give you is browse ebay and local classifieds regularly, be patient and be quick when one shows up. They still do from time to time but I don't know of any places where one can regularly buy them. Sorry.

I like to use the last free Parted Magic disk from 2013 to do backups, cloning and data recovery in similar situations. It should still be available for download.

There may be a weird bug where going back in browser history from the search results causes the search filters to not be cleared correctly. Try hitting the Reset button before applying the chipset brand filter. Oh yeah, it's probably got something to do with this. Reset button doesn't help though, …

Don't know if this is a known problem, sorry if I'm repeating stuff that's already been reported: The search function appears faulty. I get no or very few results when searching for known combinations. i.e. searching for any Intel chipset only gives 22 results total.
