Any reason you couldn't just plug a regular ATX PSU into this thing? I mean this is much neater then the usual (mess of wires) converters we use. Obviously you have to add a power on button, but that should be easy. Possibly it could be added on these boards, jumper header and its done (?). Anyways …

Afaik they made 0.18 micron Athlon Thunderbirds with both aluminim and copper interconnects. They started using copper in Dresden and continued aluminium in Austin.

I am absolutely unsure wether my concern is warranted here, but afaik all K6 CPUs use aluminium interconnects. If the diffusion barrier on those chips is not 100% liquid metal TIM may quickly become the end of those chips.
