Is fake cache memory even a thing on Pentium boards? This ATC-1000 board supposedly has 256k of integrated cache.... but when I add a 256k COAST module, the machine pretends that it can't see it. CHKCACHE confirms that it still sees only 256k of cache. If I pull the tag chip, the motherboard claims …

^ nope, that's the audio output from the wavetable header - it works If you install a midi daughterboard in it. LOL... I feel like a bonehead... I've purchased multiple CPUs trying to track this down... I purchased a 200MMX "plastic", a 200MMX ceramic, and a 166MMX "plastic. Both the 200mhz CPUs seem to ignore the 3x multiplier.
