Shame on me, speedset is the thing! I seem to need to set it at 0.0053 for old dos playback.. THNX! Ofcourse.. I should have mentioned that the games theirself run perfect. Midi timing is great, midi tempo isn't. I've tried speedset ofcourse, though never gave it any thought because the games run just fine! I'll speedset some more later this evening, maybe you're right.

You're actually quite wrong there :), the amd does less.. but way faster, which gives it a huge speed advantage and less compatibility issues. Ah now I get it. I need to use the Nview tool. I usually disable handy tools like that right away. Seems to work fine, except I can't get my refresh rate higher then 60Hz on the crt. Probably nothing. Can't fiddle any longer now, my dad want's his display back. It's on a Gforce 3

Yes, the MT32 is nice.. certainly not for sale.. yet :) The sblive! has MIDIin and MIDIout through minidin (!?). Works ok though, but no dos support (BUGGER!). That's no different on an audigy. I can't.. I can't even set TV-out and CRT display simultaniously (did I spell that correctly?) with the original drivers. (XP thing) I'm not that sure though.. never really tried it.. I also can't use both the digital and the analogue vga outpot together. Atleast with 40.72 drivers that is
