Get a 440bx board, the last mainstream board to still include an ISA slot. I use one with a p3-500 +sb16/awe32 isa and it covers all DOS games quite well. Manufacturer is not particularly relevant, but total size and chip structure should be the same per pair. Put simply: the SIMMs must be the same size and have the same number of chips. The two pairs do not need to be the same.
