Coolbits worked, but for some reason not on any drivers older that 45.23? Don’t know what’s up with that, but I’m running with that now. May try older driver with Rivatuner in the future, or try a different coolbits registry tweak if there’s a separate one for older drivers. It definitely works …

Just compared the display properties info to the working card: the working card shows 2 TMUs, whereas the broken card is only showing 1. Got it running on a Glide game (Descent 3) right now, and sure enough, the PPU and the top-right TMU are hot, but the top-left TMU is room temp.
