I still need to find a CD cable to hook up to Sound. I have one some where in my cables hoard. The board is very stable, after lots of Bios tweaking. I am not some period correct guy. I respect peoples who are. I make computers good that's all.

I take this SS7 heatsink, and I put a Intel 370 fan on it. I hook up a zalman fan controller to make it quiet. Also the Power supply. Good catch. 2x is 600 MHZ on a K6 Plus 2 or 3. It is unstable for most chips. You have to have very good silicon to run that stable. ATI cards don't work on any VIA MVP3 chipset anyways. Maybe try increasing the CPU voltage to 2.1V and use 5x multiplier and see if thats stable....That shouldn't fry the the chip. He wants to disable the onboard sound but it doesn't let him, so he can't install a sound blaster, since its using that address? Am i rite? Are you sure your board doesn't have a jumper to disable the audio?
