How about using a portable pc without a display panel ? You then have plenty to chose from and can pick the one that suits your requirements.

How about you don't have a graphic card but, just a Monochrome Display Adapter ? You can play games but in ascii. You could try the first Wizardry as an example. I can't find pictures of what it looked like ... But it was pretty playable, I spent countless hours on it !

Well ... I tried but no luck 🙁 Did DOS and win98SE versions. I can see the green light of the floppy drive, but can't figure out if the drive is dead or if I don't have the good driver. Any ideas ?
