Just adjust the gamma setting in the Nvidia drivers for your whole desktop. The desktop is too bright then maybe but the game will look better. Just set it back to normal after you played the games.

Finally, i found the problem. Resetting the CMOS did the trick! Loading BIOS defaults doesn't help! Removing the BIOS battery and shorting the contacts doesn't help! You need to short the solder points on the board marked "CLRTC". You will barely make out the points and writing because both are so …

The one i bought off eBay a year ago was a sealed NOS retail version and has a glossy finish. I was very suprised also. I remember these Mice being matte back then too. Also saw that LGR reaction and that gave me a chuckle.
