I looked but didn't see it there, unless it's in the "megabuild" but even if it is, the build's date is older than the aforementioned patch.

that patch isn't in the cvs yet. That is why it is not in AEP builds. Which game does have a problem ? Might be another testcase. IIRC, the slowdown issues with theme hospital are caused due to a missing file. the file name is SOUND-0.DAT (About 4MiB) and can be obtained by downloading the DEMO version of the game (google it). I don't know whether blackthorne supports joystick or not, but if it doesn't, you can map your joystick to the keyboard keys blackthorne uses, it is explained in the readme.

You're welcome. I guess the ultimate solution would be to use moe's ADDKEY(present in ykhwong's build), unfortunately, it doesn't work with internal DOSBox function keys, only keys that are sent to the game/app. Bummer 😖

There is a known issue in this game: the installation uses xcopy.exe to copy the directory "drivers" to the HD, but i thought this also applies to the music, so maybe that's not the problem you have.... How are you mounting the CD?

I just tried to run this game and also had the same results as you(only with 0.72), I tried to change many options in the config file, even tried setting machine to Tandy, all to no avail. The game DOES run if I boot MS-DOS v6.22 inside DOSBox though...
