Wow all good info. The machine was part of a 100 computer haul in a tireless uhaul for 25 years with a rotted out floor on the gulf coast, in a hurricane zone. Humidity was a major factor.

Going to recap the 22uf 25v button caps on my Zenith with some nice Wurth 105c 5000hr caps. While I'm at it, these other caps, some tants are under the cpu. Very low profile. You could measure the voltage by probing one of the VCC pins of the processor with a multimeter to be sure. If it turns out it's 5V, it is still possible to use a 3.3V SXLC2 by connecting the VCC pins with a wire, but it's going to be a little hacky! I did the same in this tread: https://www.vogons …

So the W241024AK-20 seems to be hard to locate. However the 15ns and 12ns variants are available. Any downside to using the faster cache? The onboard ram has issues but can be disabled. Could any damage beside the OP cache and melting have occurred from thier backwards cache?

Rise from your grave. I have a PB470 with the Firehawk I 3.x. Is that the best bios this board can take or is there a Mr.Bios? How can I back up the bios and share it? This is a flash chip, not removable.
