Interesting. I heard that some of these cards support 4 speaker surround, but my particular one doesn't seem to do that. At least there is no mention of that feature anywhere in the documentation. Out of curiosity, did your card have a dedicated jack for the rear speakers? Or did they plug into one …

Were you using VXD drivers to get the nice control panel settings? I don't recall it, but its been a long time since I've used AudioPCI.. I also have a Audio PCI 3000 with the ES1370 and AKM AK5331 which seems to have 4 channel output for DS3D Quad mode, but I think SPDIF is reserved for the ES1373 …

It was quite surprising... it just seemed to be a bunch of corporate emails thrown into the vxd. I wonder if they were trying to make the file bigger?? More contained in the tbird128.vxd. Driver attached, but removed the tbird128.dls to save space Anyway, really amusing. I found all the guys …

This AXDA3000KV4D was a trash pick from e-waste with an Abit KV7 and huge Zalman HSF. When I unscrewed the HSF, there was a huge amount of thermal paste, and I noticed a Resistor array was part broken. Am I on the right track for a replacement that will do the job... If anybody has replaced one …

Far as I know Envy 24 HT-S doesn't do DOS at all. The original Envy24 mentioned DOS in the ICE datatasheet, but I've never seen DOS drivers and the only mention is of it on Vogons is it requiring the companion VIA codec the be present on the card. I tested this trash picked 8088 XT Turbo. I was surprised it was a NEC V20... Probably a Juko ST motherboard. Worked first time! Installed Trident TVGA, XT IDE and Vibra 16. Very happy with it being such a painless resurrection!
