I use an energy logger similar to this one , put in the tariff data and out rolls the consumption and cost: Filename voltcraft-energy-logger-4000.jpg File size 41.27 KiB Views 2201 views ( although I use it for other purposes than retro-computing )

I found a cheap CEC-killer here for people in the Netherlands: https://www.onlinekabelshop.nl/hdmi-cec-killer-versie-1-4 € 5,99 a piece including taxes but excluding postage (€ 4,99) It solved my problems with the CEC/HMDI-issues I was having with my TV.

My prefs seems to go to the WD UltraStar (because I have HGST UltraStar now) but this could just be in the name I had my eye on WD/Seagate DC (datacenter) disks. But i don't know if these are different (longevity) or just an extended warranty slapped on.

Personally, I don't favor Intel, so I'm happy to supply this info: Jens Axboe When I picked it up, he was at 5.1M IOPS Per-Core With AMD Zen 3 + Intel Optane. Now he is at 10M IOPS Per-Core., its crazy 😉

If you want to play retro console games and care about latency, I would recommend getting a MISTer FPGA setup, but also having a Raspberry Pi for games that work well with runahead.
