Wow, this thread took off. What a relief! It isn't me, so its the full-time job and the money. Makes perfect sense, no wonder he lacks authenticity and passion. I think they are running out of material although I must admit I can always watch a good restore with retrobrightning 😎

Unless you use special software, you do not get an exact copy. Did you have an example in mind? These things don't come up very often. As I said, there are things like fuzzy bytes (or fuzzy bits, rather), but those are uncommon. IIRC, a lot of 80's games had keydisk protections, special tracks, …
