If you need one for SB2.0 - try mine. Worked for me, but printing quality was too poor for proper evaluation.

Greetings. Recently I've found that ET6100 ICs are pretty cheap in china, so I've decided to upgrade one of my "out-of-trash & requires repairs" ET6000 boards with this chip. However I cannot find BIOS for ET6100 online. Can anyone dump it, preferably using a programmer?

Aureal Vortex II AU8830 rev. A2 and B0 benchmarks B0 uses less CPU than A2. Some say MX300 has better analog path.

Received it, at least it works as a regular ET4000w32i in DOS. Had to wire VGA jack to the lower right header & 0ws "jumper" directly from ISA to the main IC. Still no luck finding software & information about this card.

You need to use EDO in Virge. IC41C16256, M11B416256, AS4C256K16E0 - these should be fast & cheap.

SB 1.x uses zener diodes to create filtered 5V for op-amps. On SB 2.0 op-amps are powered directly from 5V rails. Both sound ok though, maybe i'll try measuring their noise someday (i've got both snark barker and newly made sb 2.0).

Some thoughts after datasheet digging - ES690 won't work without ES1xxx, ES692 datasheet even has daughterboard schematics, but I can't find replacement for TDA1311 - its a pretty crappy DAC.
