Yup it is moved back. If I hit the rest button the computer restarts and boots windows normally and the RAM check passes and system clock is holding the correct time. Weird. I see where 1-4-2-1 can indicate an error on the Isa bus. I did remove the sound card while moving jumpers during this process …

Spoke too soon...from a cold boot I get the following beep sequence.... 1-4-2-1 Every now and again it might boot. When it gives the POST error I can hit the reset button and it seems to boot. Here is what I just tried, I formatted a floppy with format a: /s to make it bootable. I dropped phlash.exe version 4.0 release 1.57 on the disk as well as the p4hs20up.bin and ran from command prompt phlash p4hs20up.bin and it now says file open failed on platfrom.bin I tried renaming the opti8020. …

I haven't tried that link. Do I even need a different BIOS to use a writeback version of the DX2 66mhz? Mine was originally a sx2 50mhz. I think my current BIOS may be 4.03 I'll have to recheck. Can I even flash the Micro Firmware version if I have Packard Bell branded firmware? I'm confused because …
