Depends on the board. My Asus P5Q doesn't support Celeron D processors, and wouldn't POST when I tried one, which was strange considering that it supports Pentium 4. Meanwhile, Gigabyte P45 boards with the same chipset support the Celeron D.

Tested an AGP Radeon 3850 on an Athlon XP Nforce2 system. Read somewhere that the video driver requires SSE2, which I'm happy to report is not true. Card works fine using normal catalyst drivers.

Got a 100% overclock on a s775 Pentium e2140. 1.6GHz -> 3.2GHz. Using a cheap Foxconn G45M board, stock cooling, and no crazy voltage. If anything deserves to be a spiritual Celeron 300A successor, this would be it, not that lame Anniversary Edition Pentium G3258.
