Usually all you need is to run DUKE3D.EXE You may also want to run setup.exe to set display and sound optoins. What sound card do you have?

No, but I could make a custom build for you that would allow for that. The case of using DD media in a high density 1.2MB drive is a bit odd because it requires the use of a unique data transfer rate as well as double stepping the tracks. The main release will handle 720kB disks in a 1.44MB drive …

Bear in mind when using my driver - it has a limitation of not supporting "sub-caliber" disks. So if you're using a 1.2MB drive with it the disk MUST be high density not DD. Same goes for the 1.44MB drive. Didn't know that. Do you plan to remove this limitation in the future? I'd like to, but I'm …

The subject says it all. I've found a 5" Canon MD 5501 floppy drive but it comes from Epson PC 486 GR (NEC PC-98 clone). So wondering if it's going to work in an IBM PC. Thanks in advance!

This card is not a clone of IBM 3D sound card. It’s a clone of IBM 16 bit Audio Adapter. It does not work in DOS games at all, unfortunately. It comes with a wav/midi player for DOS. No other dos software is supported. I would try to rem the emm386 in cofnfig.sys. It may prevent the card from …

Finally made my Thinkpad 760 series laptop boot form PCMCIA-CF card. Thanks to the tip from someone from forum.thinkpads.com The PCMCIA boot option is in the BIOS, but never seemed to work. One has to disable IDE2 in the ps2.exe setup program.
