Its an issue with missing Dirty tag, which is needed for successfull WB strategy. You can check the availibility with the ctcm tool. If you have no dirty tag, then you can fix it with a BIOS Update or, in case of SiS471, with Hardware Hack. The 471 in general supports dirty tag.

sounds like a voltage issue - works with lower frequency at same multiplier but not stable. i would suspect, that the slotket doesnt manage the voltages in a form, your supermicro needs.

You are right, the HOT-307H has the 391, had double checked it ... and corrected. The WB cache has no dirty tag.

It can be a missing „dirty tag“. Without dirty tag the cache in WB can be slower than in WT.
